During this lecture, the challenges and opportunities of the representation and participation of Indigenous peoples in the cultural industry will be discussed. Throughout the conversation, topics such as the preservation and appreciation of Indigenous cultures, the importance of authorship and self-narrative, and the risks of cultural appropriation in the audiovisual market will be addressed. Additionally, the social and cultural impact of these productions will be highlighted.
