The challenge of bringing a diverse panel of Brazilian cinema to TV
This lecture will discuss the challenges and opportunities of translating the diversity of Brazilian cinema to television, both in terms of content and audience. Issues such as regional, ethnic, and cultural representation, adaptation of different genres and languages to the TV format will be debated. Additionally, the role of TV in valuing national productions and in democratizing access to a plural and inclusive cinema will be addressed.
